MBS Tech Days 2021 – Simulation at its Best!

On November 16-18, 2021, we were proud to host the MBS Tech Days 2021, a Multibody Dynamics-focused event. For the first time, this event is globally accessible online.

We were honored to have such a great turn-out of speakers and an overwhelming number of registrations.

Over the course of three days, we had 22 customer presentations and 5 R&D Updates:

The agenda featured a lineup of presenters like Daimler Truck, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover, Honda, Stellantis, Hyundai, AMSD/BMW, DB Systemtechnik, MesH Engineering, VIRTUAL RESEARCH Vehicle, Goldwind, FEMTO-ST, China Academy of Railway Sciences, RWTH Aachen, and more.

890 attendees from 12 different GEOs viewed these during the live event.

SIMULIA Simpack, used for the dynamic analysis of any mechanical or mechatronic system, enables engineers to generate and solve virtual 3D models to predict and visualize motion, coupling forces, and stresses.

With many of the world’s largest markets implementing stricter standards and more complex certification procedures, manufacturers need to overcome difficult challenges and focus on the customer experience.

The three-day event focused solely on Simpack multibody simulation experiences and developments with a technical-packed agenda. Each day focused on a specific industrial sector, offering all our MBS customers something specific to their field of expertise:

  • Day 1: Automotive topics, including a topic-related R&D Update
  • Day 2: Rail Vehicles and Flexible Bodies topics, including two topic-related R&D Updates
  • Day 3: General MBS topics, including a General R&D and Wind Turbine Dynamics R&D Update

See the advantages of Simpack, the leading MBS software for railway system dynamics from roller coasters, material handling systems, or tramcars to complete articulated high-speed trains. Find out how Simpack enables engineers to design, optimize and fully understand the coupled dynamics of complete multibody systems. In addition to its primary application areas, Simpack has proven its worth in many application areas and can be used practically in any engineering field.

Watch the presentations now in our SIMULIA Community on the MBS Tech Days Event page and get an unparalleled insight into the dynamics of any complete multibody system and why it is uniquely suited to the analysis and design of any type of mechanical or mechatronic system.
