Before using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, Soosan’s average new product development time was two and a half years.  They reduced that by about 40% – which is even more than they had originally planned. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform allows more than 50 employees from different departments to collaborate, and be confident they are always working the on the latest version of a design.  This allows everyone to update design changes as they are being made, which increases speed and accuracy.  Soosan can also now verify product performance in a digital environment, eliminating the need to produce expensive physical prototypes. In addition, defects are detected early during digital simulations.

Soosan’s future goal is to allow their suppliers to access the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and contribute to the design process to prepare for manufacturing.
