Can we achieve sustainability without partnership?

Sustainability is at the heart of what Dassault Systèmes does. This is strongly linked to our purpose: provide business and people with 3DEXPERIENCE universes to imagine sustainable innovations capable of harmonizing product, nature, and life.

Sustainability is a key for business today. Growing evidence shows that it’s good business. Data show that companies taking environmental responsibility outperform their markets. According to Accenture, waste to wealth strategies in the circular economy could create US$4.5 trillion in economic value by 2030.

We are in the midst of a modern Industry Renaissance. It’s a transformation where virtual worlds of digital ecosystems extend and improve the real world. Companies, entrepreneurs and innovators are working to provide for today’s needs without compromising the future. Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform provides the catalyst and enabler of the Industry Renaissance.

Partnership and sustainability

Long term partnership is a key to achieving sustainability. That holds true whether a pact among nations, the commitment of our citizenry, industrial innovation or sharing knowledge and know-how for better understanding and decision making.

Dassault Systèmes’ has a unique business footprint in regards to building partnerships—25 million users, 230,000 customers and 12,600 global business partners. Even with new technologies and innovations, in the end it’s our partners and people who make the difference. Long term partnerships with companies across industries continuously foster sustainable growth.

Technology and people

The EDF Group is an integrated electricity company and global leader in low-carbon energies. Capgemini is a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation with a 50-year heritage and deep industry expertise. Capgemini’s brand promise: “People matter, results count.”  EDF, Capgemini and Dassault Systèmes announced a long-term, 20-year partnership for the digital transformation of EDF’s nuclear engineering and its ecosystem. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform will utilize 3DEXPERIENCE twins of nuclear plants, whether at the design, construction or operational phase.

Long term partnership for sustainability

Notice the repeated use of the words long term in these stories. These are not agreements just for using individual features or applications. These are partnerships—another word that continues to show up—where companies share knowledge and know-how, explore possibilities and foster a sustainable economy for the 21st century.
