Since 2012, German based eyewear designer Mykita sales Mylon eyewear, a collection of luxury optical glasses and sunglasses crafted from a 3D printer.

Mykita combines technological innovation and craftsmanship

Mykita was the first company to make eyewear with the SLS 3D printing technology from 3D Systems. Thanks to this Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) manufacturing process (or more commonly known as 3D printing!), each model of the collection is customizable and can be adjusted to fit individual’s head.

Individual “adjustability”

Frames has low weight and incredible durability. They are made from patented polyamide-based material that can be individually adjusted to the wearer. Mykita has won an iF material award for the manufacturing process of its Mylon collection and a Red Dot design award for the product design .
