This dress, named “The Smoke Dress” was created by Dutch based fashion-tech designer and innovator Anouk Wipprecht and was realized in collaboration with Materialise (whom produces the flexible 3D printable ultra futuristic raw material) and the architect Niccolo Casas.

The interactive dress was 3D printed with fully-flexible material

This wearable tech garment was part of an 8 pieces mini collection, specially designed for the automobile brand Volkswagen. The interactive dress was 3D printed with fully-flexible material be made up of polyamide and rubber-like material. It was then embedded with sensors and a smoke system, that automatically go off  if somebody steps into the personal space of the wearer. As Anouk Wipprecht says: “With interactive designs, the intimate space around the wearer is not that often explored, and with projects like the 3D printed Smoke Dress, I like to create a new kind of dialogue – between our bodies and our surroundings.”

  1. Whats up this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors
or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I
wanted to get advice from someone with experience.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
