Two Swedish students of the two most prestigious Stockholm’s design school have collaborated to produce wearable 3D printed shoes. 

Naim Josefi of Beckmans School and Souzan Youssouf of Konstfack school, designed and modelled the 3D printed shoes for Selective Laser Sintering. The two designers have chosen a polyamid material for their creation, and produced five custom tailored pairs for the models who introduced Naim Josefi’s “Melonia” collection, during Stockholm SS 2010 Fashion Show.

Rapidity and Sustainability

The video describes the process of rapid prototyped shoes and emphasizes the idea of fashions items as a sustainable means of production.
